Ambulatory Surgery Center seeks an Administrator to oversee the day-to-day operations of their single specialty orthopaedic center.

Position Title: ASC/Clinical Administrator
Reports to: CEO & Medical Director

The ASC/Clinical Administrator would manage all aspects of a privately-owned ambulatory surgery center including all clinical and administrative functions.  Supervise all staff and functions.   Responsible for supplies, inventory, equipment and physical facility.  Provide and ensure ongoing education and competencies of personnel. Plans and directs the delivery of safe, effective nursing care that meets the standards of the profession and complies with the policies and procedures of the Center.  This individual ensures the clinical teammates function in the highest level of care and in a highly efficient environment, assesses needs of all clinical areas and adjusts resources to meet those needs, prepares for accreditation and regulatory surveys, and interacts with all departments daily to ensure a cohesive environment.

Also, assists with business or financial affairs of the Center including case costing, accounts receivable and collections, regulatory compliance, purchasing and inventory control and medical records.

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree is required. Current Mississippi RN licensure is preferred, but will consider licensees from neighboring States. BLS, ACLS & PALS certifications are required. CPAN, CAPA, and/or CNOR certification is preferred. Minimum of five (5) years direct patient care nursing experience, preferably in surgery or post anesthesia recovery areas. Minimum of three (3) years clinical management experience, preferably in an ambulatory surgery center (ASC) setting.

Experienced RN to work pre-admit, pre-op and recovery for busy orthopedic surgery center. 2-3 years of critical care experience preferred. Must be licensed in Mississippi as an RN with BLS, ACLS and PALS. Ability to work in a fast-paced surgery center environment with varying work schedule is required.

HOURS:  Scheduled shift will vary based on the case load and start times for the surgery center. This includes starting as early as 4:30 AM. No call. No holidays. No weekends.
