Position Overview

Position Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program, and current Mississippi RN or LPN licensure.

Position Overview

The Patient Services Representative works in our call center. This position is responsible for answering incoming calls; assisting patients or caregivers with various inquiries; receiving and forwarding patient requests to appropriate Clinical staff; entering patient information into the electronic health records (EHR) system; and providing general assistance with other callers.

Position Summary:

Assists the Clinical Director in organization and daily function of central sterile by demonstrating coordination and collaboration of the overall cleaning, decontamination, assembly, and dispensing of surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies needed for daily surgical procedures in surgery and related departments in accordance with established Federal, State and accreditation standards and Center policies and procedures. Assists the Clinical Director in overseeing and maintaining a high  standard of safety for the patient and other staff members. Responsible for alerting appropriate personnel about maintenance of equipment, adequate supply inventory, central sterile orientation, and complete and accurate daily logs.
